Pre Tour - Munich, Germany

We began our trip by landing in Munich and then took the train from Munich Airport to the City Center. Traveling by train lets you have a chance to see the countryside. Steve books hotels which are in walking distance from public transportation. It was a 15 minute walk from the station to Hotel Sendlinger Tor.

Marienplatz is the central square in Munich. New Town Hall below is where we met our tour guide to Dachau.

Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial Site - Steve's comment when posting pictures on Facebook - "Very sad what humans can do to other humans. Not only we're the Jews vilified and murdered, but socialist, communist, homosexuals, independent thinkers and anyone who disagreed with those in power. Eternal vigilance and always question those in authority is the lesson from this memorial."
